Stones and Moods: Can Jewelry Really Change Your Mood?
When asked this question, my immediate answer is
“YES!”. Receiving or wearing a great piece of jewelry can
brighten any day at least a little. However, there is more to stones than
just looks. The use of stones in healing has been around since early man.
In fact, an early remedy for excessive mood changes was to hold lithium
(a mineral) in your hand. After a period of time, moods would improve.
Amazing! What really happened was that lithium, which has been used for
decades to treat bi-polar, was being absorbed through the skin. In fact,
we have an advertisement (from early 1900’s) proclaiming the benefits
of drinking “Lithium in Spring Water”. Fortunately for public
safety, the use of lithium in tonics has gone the way of the original
Coca Cola (which had cocaine as an additive).
Our jewelry collection consists of inspirational bracelets and healing
