About Us
The Psychology Shop was developed by Martha W. Davis, Ph.D and her collegues
including: Allen Hume, Ph.D.; Sherri Hammond, RD, MA; Wendy Miller, RN;
and Sarah Morgan, Ph.D. Together, the group has over 70 years of experience
in the area psychology and medicine. Our philosophy is that psychology
is not only important in all of our lives, it also can be informative
and fun. The goal of this shop is to provide you with a selection of books
and gifts which can address questions and concerns you have regarding
specific mental health issues, provide information, and deliver humor
when needed. Each book has a review and a psychologist review (therapist
note) is provided when possible. Dr. Davis and her colleagues will also
answer questions about mental health in “Ask the Psychologist”
. This feature is an advise column only, and should not be considered
